About the Meeting of the Minds

The Meeting of the Minds Conference is an inter-disciplinary graduate research conference organized by the Graduate Students' Association of the University of Lethbridge. Held annually, this conference brings researchers from multiple disciplines together in one space, to explore inter-disciplinary opportunities, present their work, and network with other researchers. The conference provides a platform to showcase all types of traditional and non-traditional research, and facilitates student growth and evolution as academics, scholars, and practitioners. The conference is now in its 12th year and is spread over two days, with the 3 Minute Thesis Finals being held as part of the opening ceremony.

Students are invited to submit a presentation abstract for the Meeting of the Minds, 2018. We encourage submissions from a multidisciplinary approach, and we encourage submissions articulated in simple language that avoid jargon as much as possible.
